hummingbirds
flit
around
her. After
a
while,
Sophia
came
to
a
clearing.
In
the
middle
of
the
clearing
was
a
tall,
ancient
tree
with
a
hollow
trunk.
Sophia
was
curious
and
decided
to
investigate.
She
crawled
inside
the
hollow
trunk
and
was
amazed
at
what
she
found. The
inside
of
the
trunk
was
a
secret
hideaway,
with
soft
moss
on
the
floor
and
sunlight
streaming
through
the
leaves.
Sophia
decided
that
this
was
the
perfect
place
to
write
in
her
notebook. She
wrote
about
all
the
things
she
had
seen
and
heard
on
her
adventure
so
far.
She
promised
herself
that
she
would
go
on
many
more
adventures
in
her
lifetime. Sophia's
parents
returned
from
their
hike
and
found
her
safe
and
sound.
They
were
impressed
by
Sophia's
sense
of
adventure
and
her
courage
to
explore
on
her
own.
Sophia
was
proud
of
herself,
too,
and
couldn't
wait
for
the
next
adventure. From
that
day
on,
Sophia
never
lost
her
sense
of
wonder
and
her
desire
to
explore
the
world
around
her.
She
continued
to
seek
out
new
experiences
and
to
learn
about
the
world
in
her
own
way.
