My
Foreign-Named
Son When
it
comes
to
naming
your
child,
the
options
are
endless.
Some
parents
choose
traditional
names
that
have
been
passed
down
through
generations.
Others
opt
for
unique,
modern
names
that
stand
out.
My
husband
and
I
decided
to
give
our
son
a
name
that
was
a
little
bit
of
both. We
named
our
son
Dylan,
after
the
famous
singer-songwriter
Bob
Dylan.
We
liked
the
name
because
it
was
simple
and
uncommon,
but
not
too
strange.
Plus,
we
both
love
music
and
thought
it
would
be
a
nice
nod
to
one
of
our
favorite
artists. But
we
didn't
stop
there.
We
also
gave
him
a
middle
name
that
has
some
international
flair.
We
chose
Mateo,
which
is
a
Spanish
name
meaning
gift
of
God.
We
liked
the
way
it
sounded
and
thought
it
added
an
interesting
twist
to
his
name. We've
already
noticed
that
his
name
has
sparked
some
interest
and
curiosity
from
others.
People
often
ask
us
where
we
came
up
with
his
name
and
what
it
means.
It's
been
a
fun
conversation
starter
and
we're
happy
with
our
choice. Naming
a
child
is
a
big
responsibility
and
there's
no
one
right
way
to
do
it.
Some
people
prefer
traditional
names,
while
others
want
something
a
little
more
unique.
For
us,
we
wanted
to
give
our
son
a
name
that
was
meaningful
to
us
and
had
a
little
bit
of
both
our
cultures
represented. So
far,
our
son
seems
to
like
his 〔研习更多 星座运势知识常识请关注 :星运网,wwW.iXinGyUN.Cc〗)
name
just
fine.
Of
course,
he's
not
old
enough
yet
to
understand
the
significance
behind
it,
but
we
hope
that
as
he
grows
older
he'll
appreciate
the
thought
that
went
into
choosing
it. All
in
all,
we're
happy
with
our
decision
to
give
our
son
a
foreign-named
inspiration.
We
think
it
sets
him
apart
and
shows
that
there's
more
to
our
family
than
just
our
cultural
roots.
Dylan
Mateo
-
our
little
gift
from
God,
with
a
name
that's
as
unique
as
he
is.
