town

Guangdong

was
captured

Japanese
army
in
1944
and
suffered
brutal
torture
before
being
executed.
She
was
only
24
years
old.
Li
Zongren
was
born
in
1890
and
joined
the
Kuomintang
in
1917.
He
fought
in
the
Northern
Expedition
and
the
Second
Sino-Japanese
War.
He
also
served
as
the
Vice
President
of
the
Republic
of
China
from
1948
to
1954.
He
died
in
1969
and
was
honored
as
a
national
hero
for
his
contributions
to
the
Chinese
people's
struggle
for
independence.
These
three
martyrs
are
not
only
remembered
for
their
heroic
deeds
but
also
for
their
unyielding
spirit
and
unwavering
determination
to
defend
their
country's
