that

Amongst
the
different
kinds
of
friends
that
we
have,
our
best
friend

同桌

zhuō)
is
someone
who
holds
a
special
place
in
our
hearts.
She
is
the
one
who
has
seen
us
at
our
worst
and
at
our
best,
and
yet
accepts
us
unconditionally. For
me,
my
best
friend
is
someone
who
I
call
my
"goddess
of
love"
in
English,
or
my
"闺蜜"

mì)
in
Chinese.
Her
name
is
Sarah
and
she
and
I
have
been
friends
for
over
a
decade
now.
We
met
in
college
and
since
then,
we
have
been
inseparable.
From
studying
late
nights
together,
to
travelling
the
world
and
sharing
the
ups
and
downs
of
life,
we've
been
through
it
all. We
speak
different
languages
(she's
American
and
I'm
Chinese),
but
our
friendship
speaks
the
language
of
love.
We
don't
need
words
to
understand
each
other;
our
actions
and
emotions
speak
louder
than
words. In
our
friendship,
we
empower
and
support
each
other.
She
encourages
me
to
strive
for
my
dreams,
while
I
motivate
her
to
take
risks
and
explore
new
things.
Whenever
we
face
challenges,
we
rely
on
each
other
for
strength
and
guidance. As
much
as
we
have
different
personalities
and
backgrounds,
we
share
similar
interests
and
values.
We
both
love
reading,
hiking,
trying
new
foods
and
giving
back
to
society
through
volunteering. Being
in
a
long-distance
friendship
is
not
easy,
but
we
make
it
work.
We
make
sure
to
stay
in
touch
through
regular
video
calls,
surprises
in
the
mail,
and
