Alejandro,
which
means
"defender"
or
"protector
of
mankind"
in
Spanish.
He
told
me
that
he
chose
this
name
to
remind
me
of
my
duty
to
look
out
for
others
and
to
use
my
privileges
to
help
those
who
are
less
fortunate. Growing
up,
I
didn't
fully
understand
the
significance
of
my
name
or
my
father's
intentions.
But
as
I've
gotten
older,
I've
come
to
appreciate
the

responsibility
that
come
with
being
a
defender. Whether
it's
standing
up
for
someone
in
the
face
of

to

the
ideals
that
my
name
represents. Of
course,
being
a
defender
doesn't
mean
that
I
have
all
the
answers
or
that
I'm
always
right.
It
means

best
to

a

in
my

and

the
