night,
I
had
a
dream
where
I
was
in
my
dorm
room
with
my
roommate.
However,
in
the
dream,
my
roommate
was
struggling
to
express
herself
in
English.
I
remember
feeling
frustrated
and
worried
for
her. As
an
international
student
myself,
I
know
how
challenging
it
can
be
to
adapt
to
a
new
language
and
culture.
I
realized
in
my
dream
that
language
barriers
can
cause
a
lot
of

people. Reflecting

dream,
I
am
reminded
of

It
takes
time
and
practice
to
improve
one’s
language
skills,
and
it’s
natural
to
make
mistakes
along
the
way. In
my
dream,
I
wish
I
had
taken
the
time
to
help
my
roommate
practice
speaking
and
listening.
Perhaps
we
could
have
played
language-learning
games
or
watched
English-language
movies
together.
Sharing
each
other's
culture
through
language
learning
can
be
a
valuable
bonding
experience. Ultimately,
my
dream
serves
as
a
reminder
to
treat
others
with
kindness
and
respect,
especially
when

to

new.
